Restaurant Fire – Man injured in London

A blaze in a restaurant in the Greenwich area of London left a man in his 20’s is fighting for his life. The fire in the Studio 338 nightclub, was reported to the London Fire Brigade at 1155pm (8th August 2016). The man who is being treated due to burns received in the incident, is in hospital. He was rescued by fire-fighters wearing breathing apparatus.

At the height of the incident approxmately 100 Firefighters attended the fire in 15 fire appliances. However  this has been reduced to 20 firefighters in four appliances, who are continuing to dampen down the scene.

Two other businesses were affect by the fire after it spread to a paper recycling site and an industrial warehouse.

14 people were arrested on the suspicison of arson but later released without charge.
