If you own, manage or are in control of any premises other than a private dwelling, it is very likely that you’ll have some very clear legal responsibilities when it comes to protecting your employees, customers and tenants from the risks of fire.
An important part of your legal responsibilities is a Fire Risk Assessment. This is technical document that is evidence that you have identified and mitigated any potential fire hazards, and that you have a proper emergency evacuation plan in place.
It is one of the things the NI Fire & Rescue Service will look for as part of their Fire Risk Audit of your premises. They will also ask for your fire safety policy and records, which we can prepare for you.
If you haven’t had a Fire Risk Assessment carried out for your premises, we can take care of it. If you have had one but it’s been a while since it was reviewed, we can take care of that too.
